The major component of soil health is soil pH. Most plants do best with a pH of 6.0 to 7.4. Always consider any specific needs of your plants before adding any soil amendments.

How to use:
Gardens: Spread evenly over surface of soil. Water thoroughly.
Individual Plants: Spread evenly starting at soil/ground level next to main plant crown, spread out to edge of pot or just beyond drip line. Water thoroughly.
 
Mix 2.5 to 5 lbs per 100 sq ft (2-4 tbs per plant) into the soil.
